My name is Mosteure. I'm hosting and we've got a nice tight group around this table today. I've got Dan Austin and Adam Media alongside

me and we're going to be talking through the new phenomenon which is a midweek round of the

Afre Cup. The fifth round of the Afre Cup is going to be played in its entirety from Monday to

Thursday. It's something that's been muted. I don't, I'll start with you,

since you actually read the agenda. Yeah. Boy. It's something that's been muted for a while.

Another way of using the FFA Cup to try and make everyone else's schedule a little bit easier.

There's been a lot of talk about the loss of tradition from having the weekend games but we have

League Cup games in midweek a lot of the other leagues across Europe have midweek

cup for games I mean does it make a difference to you that it's midweek or are you actually looking forward to just having another midweek of football?

I'd never even really considered it.

I hadn't really realized that the FA Cup didn't happen in midweek. It's a funny thing isn't it

the FAA up. It's sort of it wants to be more old-fashioned than everything else and I think

that's sort of what it kind of holds itself back somehow weirdly and I think it's not it isn't

different to any other type of football there's still funny games isn't it and

so I think basically I've never even really particularly thought that it was it was a

the fake up was was always a weekend thing I do I mean that the problem is is that those those those big weekends of all they've all really gone

That it feels like they even the ones where the third and fourth round it's too spread out anyway

It's fit for it for it for it to feel like it used to and that is a

shame because it did use to feel brilliant you know when everybody was playing on

third and fourth round day on that on those big big Saturdays that you know that 2001 is the one that always sort of
