I was thinking about why is gun control suddenly breaking through now when there seem to be

terrible tragic massacres every few weeks.

And this is the first time that I can remember where the victims have become a broadcast

social movement.

This is not to say it wasn't heart-wrenching to see the parents of Newtown, Massachusetts

grieving over their dead children.

But like the astonishing thing about Parkland is that the victims are visceral, visceral

surrogates for their murdered friends.

And to see them is to see both the living and the dead.

And then we have the news of me, Brittany Clinton, Sam, as always.

The message for this week is just to remember like, you gotta take care of yourself and be

intentional about the work.

I think often sort of misinterpret exhaustion for impact that people feel like if they run

themselves into the ground and like, if they are like always moving and did it, that

is a sign in and of itself that they're making an impact.

And that's just not true.

You can be well-rested and change the world.

You can like get out of sleep and do incredible work.
