Summary
It was just another house. Or so Michelle McClane Woods thought when she and her husband purchased a fixer-upper in 2015. With dreams of turning the dated property into a warm, modern home, they began making changes—repairs, renovations, and fresh touches to give it new life. But as they worked, strange feelings began creeping in.
It didn’t take long before Michelle realized they weren’t alone. The previous owner of the home—long since passed—seemed to still be there. And she wasn’t exactly pleased with the young couple’s vision for the property.
From slamming doors to a heavy, oppressive atmosphere, it became clear that this spirit wasn’t ready to give up her territory. Michelle began to sense that the ghost wanted things “her way”—the way they had always been, before anyone dared to alter the space she once called her own. Each change Michelle and her husband made seemed to stir up more unrest, as if the entity was fighting them every step of the way.
Was this simply residual energy echoing through the walls? Or was it something more personal—a spirit still attached, unwilling to let go, and determined to keep the house exactly as she left it?
