I wonder what age you have to be to hear different echoes when it's pointed out that it's Friday. If you're my age, you probably think Crackerjack. If you're slightly younger, thank Crunchy, it's Friday. Friday's always been associated. If you're older, you probably think fish, do you? Not in a Brexit way. Just as in on Fridays you eat fish. Instead of meat,

a sort of religious observation. I'm very much the crackerjack generation. You say Friday,

I say crackerjack. No, me neither. We're going to talk about coronavirus. I felt obliged to try and start proceedings with a little bit of levity, but I appreciate that it may have

had all of the bounce of a soggy balloon, but we will be diving into that conversation once again.

Later in the programme, it's up to you, really. I heard Nick earlier touching on that thing, or talking

quite a lot about that thing we've been flirting with, a degree of confusion about why so many roads

have been shut. But I didn't hear enough to know whether or not it is simply confined to London,

in which case we probably won't talk about it, or whether there are reflections of similar

behaviours up and down the country. It's such an odd one because for me,

I'm probably at my worst when I think something's a no-brainer.
