They're exhausted. A lot of their friends have already died. They've walked across Europe.

They've been in trouble. They've been in near starvation.

They've got packs of people circulating who've scented weakness and are out for blood.

Is this one-time thing?

Is this the beginning of waves that are going to come?

It is an attack against Islam in the Muslim world.

It was blurred.

How can I make Western Christendom better?

Export all the violence out of the West into the East.

And that way, the problem solved at home. They saw the citadel perched on top of Mount Silpius,

over 500 metres high.

They saw the walls cascading down the mountainside

to embrace a really impressive, large city.

What interests me about the visions, I think, is how apocalyptic and radical they actually are.

When we talk about the Crusades today, the mental images that spring to mind are as clear as they are striking.

Valiant Crusader nights emblazoned with crosses and penniless pilgrims in search of salvation.

Perhaps even a brutal clash of civilizations.

But there's more to them than that.
