Honestly, I don't often get to work from the pub,

but there is genuinely a very good reason why I'm here.

At the Carlton Tavin, a weirdly new 100-year-old pub in Medavale.

Back in 2015, this pub was actually bulldozed by its new owners.

The locals were outraged and campaigned for six years

to have it rebuilt brick by brick.

And now, it's at the heart of the community again.

So the top of the fireplace was sort of reclaimed from the rubble

and then everything underneath it sort of matched in.

The reason I'm here is because people are asking
