On the morning after the most exciting sporting weekend of all time,

the most exciting sporting weekend, quite frankly, that anyone can remember. As we awoke this morning

through a series of triumphalist headlines in the newspapers, apparently England and Wales have won the Cricket World Cup,

albeit with a captain from Ireland. It's all very confusing, isn't it? It was, however, a magnificent

achievement and the most tense sporting battle of all time.

And coming so fast off the back of the five-set, Wimbledon final,

between Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, it was almost too much to take.

It was one of those great summer moments that will last forever, and it might just make cricket the go-to sport for kids too.
