10th, 2025, friends of the Long family, 34-year-old Emily Long, her husband, 48-year-old Ryan Long,

and their three children, a son, eight-year-old Parker, a daughter, six-year-old Ryan,

and another three-year-old child were getting concerned.

They let themselves into the Longhouse in Madbury, New Hampshire.

Since this case is recent, it's not clear exactly what the relationship was between the people

who came into the house and the Long family. All investigators have said

publicly is that these people knew the family. Once they got into that house, they found a horrific

sight. Emily, her husband Ryan, and two of their three children, all dead. All of them had been fatally shot.

The third child, a three-year-old, was safe. The two family dogs were also in the home.

The friends of the family called 911, and the New Hampshire Attorney General's office

said when state troopers got to that scene at 8.21 p.m.,

they began their investigation.

And they began forensic testing on the four bodies.

This was a massacre, and it happened in a very safe and quiet neighborhood.

And it wasn't long before police figured out that all four family members had been

fatally shot and that this was a murder suicide.

And the killer was Emily Long.
