discussing all of the terrible things when it comes to fear and abuse. However, fear can also

keep you safe. And fear tells us we are in danger. And fear is one of the most basic human

emotions and it's programmed into our nervous system and works like an instinct. And from the time

we're small, we're infants, we are equipped with these survival instincts that are necessary

to respond with fear when we sense danger or just something

just feels unsafe to us. And at the basic level, fear guides us through our fight or flight

responses. And we will also discuss today the freeze and fawn responses as well. So when we sense

danger, you know, our brain reacts instantly sending signals that

activate our nervous system causes physical responses. You know, you might feel a faster heartbeat

when you have fear. Rapid breathing. You might have an increase in blood pressure because

blood is pumping to muscle groups to prepare you for some type of action.
