Well, I've been teaching on the fear of God, and praise God, I'm glad that we have this many people that have come back.

Pastor Jerome got up and said that people just had to endure my preaching.

There was something like that's what you said.

But anyway, this may not be one of those things that makes you run the aisles,

but this is something that is in short supply today.

And one of the scriptures that I've used a number of times I think every

time I've ministered is Psalms chapter 36 verse one that says the

transgression of the wicked says within my heart that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

And this is the reason that our nation is messed up today is because people used to have

a fear of God,

even people that weren't born again,

at least had a fear of God.

And I defined fear.

I spent quite a bit of time doing this.

I'm not talking about a terror or a dread, but rather an awe, a respect, an honor.

You know I was thinking about this last night.

Let me just give you the story before I get into these scriptures. But when I was in the Army, it was a bad time. It was during

the Vietnam War, and I mean, they would just draft anybody. If you were alive, they would take take you and we had some rough characters and I remember

in my basic training at Fort Bliss El Paso, Texas which was the worst misnomer in the history of the world.
