The Bible says that Jesus feared His Father God, but does that mean He was afraid of God? The obvious answer is no. In fact, over 300 scriptures talk about the fear of the Lord in a positive way. The proper understanding of the fear of the Lord will change your life. This teaching will offer a grace-filled perspective on an often misunderstood subject.

honoring, and we went through a lot of scriptures about what the fear of God was.

I want to continue that today and just say that the fear of

the Lord is to hate evil. That is a direct scripture.

Proverbs chapter 8 verse 13.

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil.

Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the

evil way and the froward mouth, froward here in the King James means a lying mouth.

Not speaking the truth. Do I hate? The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Let me turn around and say it this way that if you don't hate these things that are mentioned right here, then you do not fear God. And boy, this brings up a real conflict in today's church

that basically most Christians are taught that we aren't supposed to hate anything, that we are supposed
