U.S. Federal Communications Commission updated its covered list on Monday to include routers, and this is the quote,

routers produced in a foreign country, except routers which have been granted a conditional approval

by DOW or DHS. The FCC says that manufacturers can request an exemption if they can

demonstrate that their routers, quote,

do not pose unacceptable risks. Guidance for that application requires that the company

detail what companies make the routers for them, or rather which companies make the routers

for them, why that supply chain is not a risk, and why those
