and having been adopted by grace into his family,

we are now to reflect that love to others,

particularly to those who are weak and vulnerable.

It's good to be together around God's word.

Before we dive into the word and an emphasis on orphans

and vulnerable children, specifically, I want to pause on this Veterans Day weekend and say

to the many men and women across this church who have served or are even serving now on our armed forces.

Obviously Veterans Day a recognition of those who have served but I know, this congregation across all our campuses is full of men and women who have

Paid much price and are paying price daily to defend the freedoms that we enjoy, to promote the freedoms we enjoy.
