This truth from John chapter 12 verses 24 through 26

applies not only to the eternal life that comes to us through Christ's death,

but also to our own death.

Death to self, death to the world,

and even death for the sake of the gospel.

today was International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.

We were planning on praying for our persecuted brothers and sisters, especially on this day. When I flew back from the Korean peninsula last week so the

place in the world where Christian persecution is most severe North Korea.
