This is Marianne Sullivan, and this is Jasmine Singer.

And this week, Jasmine will be interviewing two amazing, amazing activists for animals.

And they just happen to be mother and daughter. Zoe Rosenberg

and her mother, veterinarian, Dr. Schurston Rosenberg, are not only the driving forces behind

Happy Hens Sanctuary at California Farm Animal Rescue, but are animal activists through and through,

particularly with their work with direct action everywhere. You were really

inspired by this interview, weren't you? Totally. First of all, it was very fascinating to me,

interviewing mother and daughter, because as I mentioned to you afterwards, they could have

been two separate interviews, but obviously there's a lot of overlap and they are mother-daughter,

but they both do important work in their own right. And Zoe is a force of nature. I mean,

like, just there's no other way of putting it. I've never met anyone like her before. And

I was obviously on video with them because we record on video. And I have to tell you,

watching Sheerston's face sometimes

when Zoe was talking about, like, her arrests and this and that,

it was, it was kind of priceless.

But, you know, when you have a kid like Zoe,

they just have to be themselves.

There's no, there's no kind of discussing maybe softer advocacy efforts because

this is it. And Zoe is like my new hero. Yeah, no, she sounds completely amazing. And I haven't

listened yet. I'm really, really looking forward to listening to this interview. I'm so glad
