Welcome to Our Hen House. This is Jasmine Singer. And this is Marianne Sullivan. And on this week, Marianne will be speaking with Dr. James Yates and Jessica Bridgers about the World Federation for Animals.

This is an organization that is seeking to bring together animal protection organizations

from all over the world to find common policy goals and work to see that animals are included

in global policymaking. That's a different sort of interview for us. I'm excited.

Yeah, well, we've certainly covered major policy efforts before, but recently we have,

I feel like we have been focusing a lot on grassroots efforts, a lot of DXC interviews,

and this is really going to the other end of the spectrum. And I think it's really, really

important that there

is this work going on at an international level and the people all over the world who care

about animals. And as we all know, people who care about animals really are everywhere,

at least a few of them, and that they would be working together. Of course, you know,

there's a limit to how much you can get accomplished at an international level.

But I love the idea of bringing together all of these different organizations from all over the world

to try to find some common ground and work towards common goals.
