0:03.0	People talk about family as designed to be dysfunctional.
0:06.0	It's sort of punchline. Like, of course, all of our families are dysfunctional.
0:09.0	We're not aware that we are participating in a vast experiment that has failed.
0:13.0	That we are operating a family with the wrong operating system.
0:16.0	The Bible actually never describes the kinds of families that we're building today.
0:20.0	People in biblical times, they would say that's probably going to break families that we're building today. People in biblical
0:21.6	times, they would say that's probably going to break. And we're seeing it break. But instead of
0:26.7	taking a big step back and saying, did we lose the design of the family somewhere in the past,
0:30.9	we just keep doubling down, tripling down, quadrupling down on this bad design. The level of
0:36.2	financial, emotional, and schedule-based burnout that families are going through
0:42.4	seems to be where the rubber's meeting the road.
0:44.8	And our plea at family teams is, hey, it doesn't have to be that way.
0:47.8	A family can be a strong, dominant, flourishing ecosystem within itself, but also beacon for those around it,
