Hey, everybody, it's Martha Byrne. I'm here, and I'm so excited to have a very special guest with me today.

His name is Anthony Anderson. I cannot believe that I have known Anthony and I was trying to think back how long we've known each other now and it's a

very long time. And I, you know, throughout my life and my career, there have been people that

You know, like when you get together and you just hit it off and you just, you know, your peers in life and in joy and creativity.

And when I met Anthony, I instantly fell in love with him. I loved his personality. I said, this guy is incredible.

And, you know, so I thought today we could do a little background about how we met and where we may be going together, possibly in the future.

got there i think it's a really great story um well um i'm originally from washington dc the area of

anacostia which we'll get into later.

Like Anacostia is a very real place.

It's a very real place in Washington, D.C., east of the river, east of the Anacostia River.

And I think I got my start.

I think my teachers, they just identified something.

I was kind of like the class clown and joked a lot.

And I think some teachers decided instead of putting up with it that they would put me into a program which turned out to be the gifted and talented program, which opened me up to

so nice to he's so great to hear that Anthony because creat because creatives, children, so often, they're, you know, they get ignored or like, oh, they're a bother. It's like, no, find their voice.
