whether that be Eric or the handful of people he's to talk to over the last couple of days.

They're a thing that are on the ice, and I definitely know things about for sure, for real, for real.

But, you know, beyond that, obviously goaltending,

Derek, would you say goaltending is the most important position in hockey?

Well, if it's not the most important one,

it's certainly towards the top of the list, right?

I use that phrase all the time.

Like, I don't think you can win in the NHL with average goaltending.

I think you need good goaltending.

I think we saw with the abs a couple years ago, let's say, with Kemper.

You don't need great goaltending, right?

I mean, you know, I play with great goaltending, right? I mean,

sure.

You know,

I play with my words here. You know what I mean? So I don't think you need great goaltending for some teams. Yeah. If you're the best team on paper in the last 20 years, you can get away with just okay goaltending, sure. Yeah, like go, go even with the red wings i thought they were an outstanding team and not a knock on

chris osgood or you know, I thought he was just a good goalie. He wasn't Patrick Waugh, for example. You know what I mean? I don't think it's an offense to Chris Osgood. I've met him a nice guy. And, you know, I don't like to say nice things about the Red Wings. But Chris Osge was a good goalie.
