How long have you been an entrepreneur?

That's a good question because I don't know dude.

Like I think it's something that I've had in me since I was a little kid.

Like I would legit, I was living with my grandparents when I was young and

Dominican Republic and I would get little money from you

know doing little things that I would earn and I would literally give money to my

grandma on an inch like she would have to pay interest on my money. I've always had that

entrepreneurial like how can I make a little bit of money mentality and I think it

really started to flourish when I moved from Dominican Republic to Miami and I went to, you know, I started like a little clothing line with t-shirts and I started a car wash with like eco-friendly car wash company.

So I've always been in some way shape or form intrigued by making money more so for my efforts not my time.

So I also was a part of a couple of network marketing companies and that's when I really learned how to you know

The I guess the power of entrepreneurship leveraging other people's time and all these different things and that's when it

flourished even though I don't do network marketing in any way shape or form now I learned a ton of,

you know, business strategies through that experience. Got it.

What about like for me, I kind of have the same thing where when I was like younger I've always found little side hustles and stuff like that but was there a moment in your life where you were like I am going to not work for anyone else I am going to do whatever it takes to keep doing my own thing. I wouldn't say there's a singular moment that I can pinpoint, but I remember working at a regular 9 to 5, like my first, the first company that I worked for that I was getting paid like on commission was Circuit City. Do you remember Circuit City? I've heard of it. Circuit City is like a competitor of Best Buy. Okay. And it was like the red logo and all that and they fell off.

But I was selling TVs.

I was back then when they were, yeah back then they were like the plasma TVs, LCD TVs that were super

heavy, but they were like $7,000.

So I was maybe a senior in high school when I started working with them and I started to see like,

dude, I'm pretty good at sales so I need to just lean in on this and that led for to me getting other jobs eventually to my last corporate job I guess was an all state agent I was selling insurance and I was pretty good at it

I helped the agent that I was working for start a brand new agency and started it from scratch and

built it into like a three million dollar book of business and then I ended up moving right but that was going to actually be my path if it wasn't for Airbnb and me moving out of Miami I probably would be an like an insurance agent right now like with my own
