there's been podcasts, and for the first time on the channel we've got Dave here, private investigator,

and he's part of the Essex Murders which launches on sky documentaries on the 16th of April.

All right, can you, Dave, can you tell the viewers a little bit about what you do and how you came

to be involved in this series, please? Yes, so I run a particular company called TMI, TMI,

is a company, a private investigation to come, I suppose, but we also do private prosecutions

and we investigate crimes, and we investigate crimes from shoplifting all the way up to and

investigate murders. And so we do miscarriage of justice cases, we investigate miscarriage of

justice cases, as well as all the other stuff we do, we don't charge for that. Yes, a side

line is something that we all enjoy doing and we do it for the right reasons. And we basically

we got approached about four years ago by a former member of the defence team who asked me the

question, do I think that mixed in the Jack Holmes or Guilty? I had obviously some involvement in it,

not in the actual murder investigation, but in the proceeding drug operation. And obviously,

I know that people around that time and I said categorically, yeah, Guilty is no doubt you can't

change my mind, they're going to, you know, they are guilty, had a long conversation. And as a

result of that, I was given some material that I read that I sort of thought that's not right,

there's something quite not quite right about all this. And then following that,

reviewed some more stuff and then questions, I started sort of raising questions about what had

gone on at the time and started to get doubts, to be honest. So I brought in some independent people,

completely independent, but nothing worked part of TMI at all, very senior former police officers

who I said, look, I've got my views on this, take this material away, review it, see what you
