Welcome to Real Cool History for Kids, episode 37.

Before we start our history adventure together today, I need you to do something for me.

I want you to have something to write on and something to write with.

It can be a piece of paper or a whiteboard or anything you want.

This episode is about a history story that might be a little hard to follow, so you just need to be

able to sketch a few things as I tell you the story. I'll have my own piece of paper, and I'll doodle

along with you. Our doodles will help us keep track of the details. Don't worry, you don't have to

be an artist or even like drawing. We're going to

use it as a tool to keep things straight. So pause me for a moment and go grab something to doodle on.

Are you ready? Okay, here we go. In today's episode, we are going to explore an era of history

that eventually changed everything about the world. The Enlightenment not only greatly affected

the happenings of that time, but it also changed everything from

that time going forward. Now I have to warn you about something. Most people don't tell

stories about the enlightenment to kids your age. But here's the thing. I believe that you can understand

something this big, especially if we doodle our way through it together and talk about what the big

words mean. So I believe in you. and if you have any questions at all,
