It's the fall of 1980 in Steve Jobs office at Apple headquarters.

Steve sits at his desk trying to call himself.

He knows a fight is coming, but he wants to keep us cool.

He focuses on breathing deeply as he hears footsteps coming down the hall.

His door flies open and Apple's CEO, Michael Scott, storms in.

Steve, are you willfully ruining this product or are you just too arrogant to see what

the hell you're doing?

At 25 years old, Steve serves as vice president for research and development at the company

he co-founded with his friend Steve Wozniak.

For the past nine months, he's been leading the team designing Apple's latest computer,

the Lisa.

Apple's mandate is to design the Lisa for businesses, but Steve keeps pushing his engineer

to make it more for everyday users.

The next messages have stalled production on the Lisa, and Scotty has had enough.

But Steve refuses to take the blame.

Don't put this on me Scotty, we're stalled again, because I can't get the hardware

guys to understand what we're trying to do here.

They know exactly what they're supposed to do, but everything you tell them goes against

it.
