When you were making Hoop Dreams and legendary documentarian Peter Gilbert. When you were making Hoop Dreams, did you realize what you had on your hands as you

were looking at the footage on a day-in, day out basis over the course of years?

Absolutely not. We knew it was a great story, and I would say it took us to about their junior year, where we realized that we really had something special.

There were a couple of moments where what happened was when we were beginning to follow them.
