So you have this horrible, this historic trauma, right?

You mob over ran the Capitol and bludgeoned a police officer to death.

Trampled a woman to death apparently.

One woman who tried to break into the speaker's gallery with members on the other side was

shot dead because had she breached it, a huge mob of people would have been sent loose

possibly upon members to beat them to their deaths.

Conservatives did not really want to talk about that.

And so when a bunch of platforms kicked the president off and when Twitter started purging

a bunch of bots, all of a sudden it was like, oh, wow, thank you.

We have something to talk about.

A momentous, terrifying, crazy week yet again here in the United States of America.

We got lots of great positive feedback, conversation with Tana Hasekkoz.

And again, as I said last week, we float in and out of how news cycle we make these podcasts

And one of the things, one of the momentous, enormous things that happened in the past week

that was a top story that I barely even got to scratch because of what was happening is

just this unprecedented set of actions taken by tech platforms in the wake of the Capitol

Hill attack to take Donald Trump off their platforms.

The huge news announced by Twitter that they were permanently banning Donald Trump and

doing that.

You then had a whole variety of other platforms from Facebook.
