Tonight, I'll be reading The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim.

Chapter 6

In the previous chapters, Mrs Wilkins and Mrs. Arbethnot spent a miserably guilty march

waiting for their trip to Italy.

As Mrs Wilkins broke the news to her

suspicious husband, and Mrs. Arbuthnot was heartlessly ignored by hers. After suffering a tiresome

and rainy journey, and becoming frightened by their foreign hosts on arrival, they thought

their trip doomed.

But upon arrival at the beautiful castle of San Salvador, seeing it was in fact real,

they felt finally happy and ready to enjoy themselves.

Now that we've caught up with the story so far, let's get ourselves ready for sleep.
