I'm Ashfin and I'm on the phone with Brian.

And this week we're going to be talking about the 2020 film, The Empty Man, written and directed by David Pryor, based on a graphic novel by Colin Bunn and Vanessa R. Del Rey

and starring James Badge Dale, Marin, Ireland, and Stephen Roots.

In this film, an ex-police officer searches for a missing girl and runs across some

supernatural forces and some other random things.

If you're new to our show, Brian and I are going to have a spoiler-free discussion for the

first 10 to 15 minutes. Then we'll take a quick break. You'll hear some music and then we'll

come back, review the plot, spoil the film, and review it.

I had never seen it.

I remember hearing some buzz about it on our Discord server,

really for the past couple of years.

And in fact, I think this was requested by some of those Discordians.

It's definitely one of, I feel like our most, most movies, the most requests we get for them is like four.
