I'm on the phone with Ashvin and today we are discussing the Babadook from 2014, directed and written by Jennifer Kent, starring Essie Davis, Noah Wiseman, and Tim Purcell.

In this Australian film, a single mother and her son are plagued by an entity straight from the pages of a mysterious children's book.

Elijah A. And just one of the bigger, more well-known horror movies of the modern age that we still haven't discussed yet.

I feel like this is one of the big, big ones that's been hanging out there that we haven't gotten around to yet.
