I am Paul Sheer joined as always by my co-host Amy Nicholson each week on the show we talk about

movies movies that are perceived as the best of the best but are they? Do we just remember them that way? Or in the case of the

Emperor's New Groove, did we just assume they were bad and never watch them in the

first place? Well this is a really interesting film. The Emperor's New Groove is a movie that if you talk to a certain group of people, a certain age group people, they will tell you it is their favorite Disney film.

It's really an outlier in the Disney world. You're coming off of all these giant hits and this is a non-musical. I mean there is one song.

Comedy. It really breaks the mold and right before Shrek gets on the scene and I have to say

while audiences loved it, Disney hated it.

Yeah, there is a ton to talk about here and I kind of just want to jump in honestly. I feel like I've waited decades of my life to know enough

about this movie to be able to talk about it in the first place and now I just want to talk about it.

You know what? Let's start our groove and unschool it.

The year is 2000 and Disney has to make a cartoon about a llama.

I mean they have to. They've promised McDonald's that they would release a cartoon about Lamas in the year 2000.

This is not a joke.

Now here's the thing.

If Disney doesn't follow through, they're going to be out even more millions of dollars than the millions of dollars that they've already

spent and years that they've put into trying to make this llama cartoon happen.
