Summary

In the heart of California sits a towering relic of the past—Preston Castle, in Ione, California, once a place meant to reform troubled youth but now known for something much darker. Since its opening in 1894, the halls of Preston Castle have witnessed discipline, death, and despair. Haunted by the restless spirits of former wards and staff, this eerie structure has become a hotspot for ghostly activity. Preston Castle has more than its fair share of chilling stories, from slamming doors to disembodied voices.

0:15.3	used to do overnight you know now now we end them at 2 a.m. but they used to allow people to stay
0:21.6	overnight stuff and since you know now we know better you know the safety and all the other stuff and the fire codes and all that other stuff so people aren't allowed to stay overnight anymore but you know in the beginning they did I believe. Now I was reading that about and who
0:38.0	knows and maybe through some of your investigations you've kind of gotten an idea who might be there but there was a housekeeper who died she's reading about it
0:50.8	Anna Corbin's not there. And she was very much loved.
0:55.0	She was well loved by the boys.
0:57.0	She's not, she's not there.

1:01.0	She didn't, you know, it's a common misconception that she lived in the castle,
1:05.0	she had her own room, she did. She had a family, she had a husband, she had children.
1:10.0	She's not there. There were other housekeeper.
1:15.0	There was another one before her that was also,
1:20.0	she was bludgeoned by the boys.
1:22.0	And now, we don't know it. She didn't die in the castle, but we don't know if she actually died. We do know this she had a brain
1:28.3	Aneurysm after being attacked by the boys and there was also at the new Preston there was an agriculture teacher, a male ag teacher
1:35.8	that the boys also attacked.
1:38.7	But he actually died at the new Preston.
1:41.8	That is one project that we are trying and I don't know that we'll ever have an answer is how many people actually died there at the castle.
