Arrani and President Ibrahim Raise, known for his hard-lined stance in close

association with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Kamini died at 63 in a helicopter crash

along with Iran's foreign minister and other officials.

Raise, who was involved in the mass executions of officials. to near weapons grade levels and launch significant drone and missile attacks on Israel.

His death occurs amid internal dissent in Iran and strained international relations.

Raise came to power in 2021 after a managed election process and was a key figure in Iran's hardline shift

following the collapse of the nuclear deal with world powers.
