This is Holy Family School of Faith.

Well, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

We are blessed this evening in many ways to have our daughter Sarah in from Richmond from law school

on spring break and a wonderful couple that went with me to the Holy Land in

2012 the Mosiers and their team of Mary from Frankfurt, Way out in the hinterlands have come down for a retreat this weekend and they're in my

living room and we've had drinks and snacks and good conversation and now we're going to pray the Rosary together because this is just what we live,

this simple way of life.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Our first decade, I experienced a great and overwhelming attack of darkness and

doubt beginning late yesterday afternoon. It grew with intensity

until we prayed the Rosary late last night, but again when I awoke this morning the darkness

was there. So I went to Eucharistic Adoration and began to

pray the Rosary. And literally there, wedged, so to speak, between the Eucharist and the

Rosary, I experienced experienced light clarity and peace. At the same time a dream

of St. John Bosco was brought to my mind that I want to relate to you in this Rosary. This dream occurred to St. John Bosco

on May 30, 1862, and it concerned the battles of the church against many adversaries, the sufferings of the Pope, but the final triumph through

the devotion to the Eucharist and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, especially the Rosary.

Our Father who art in heaven, hollow would be your name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses.

That's to be free of those who trespass against us,

and made us not into temptation but to litter us for me.
