Think about your fall wardrobe for a second.

The boots, the corduroy, the wax jackets, we all have our favorite items that are quintessentially

fall feeling and for me that item is the crew neck sweatshirt.

Perhaps it's my affinity for tim tailors sweatshirts on home improvement or maybe I've

just become far too attached to my personal favorites.

My plain forest green sweatshirt that's a tad too small.

My Heather Grave varsity scary sweatshirt that's a touch too big.

And even my Michigan football sweatshirt that's reserved for the Ohio State game only and yes

I will admit it does have a losing record.

Every sweatshirt is different with its own fit, its own history, its own story.

Unfortunately, they're also difficult to wear in any occasion.

These are the rankings of the ways to wear your crew neck sweatshirts.

Let's start with the worst one of them all, wearing a crew neck over a long sleeve shirt.

Thick cotton long sleeves are the first cousin to the crew neck sweatshirt and that's a good

thing.

Too thick to wear during the summer but perfect for a 68 degree patio day.

There are those days however when it's just simply not enough and the worst case scenario,

having you toss a crew neck sweatshirt on top of it.

I know, I know it sounds extremely trivial but just hear me out.
