With a woman at look at culture from a Christian worldview, I'm John Stone Street with a point.

In George Orwell's infamous novel 1984, the dystopian regime proclaims self-contradictory

slogans like,

War is peace, freedom of slavery, ignorance of strength.

While some in the Colorado legislature are attempting to employ that same legal strategy

in a new spate of pro-abortion bills.

If passed, it will be illegal for pregnancy resource centers to lie to clients, other

not referring to planned parenthoods repeated lies about their services, their mission,

or their income.

Instead, the law would prevent pro-life centers from saying they offer abortion, something

no one's credibly accused them of doing in the first place.

The irony here is thick.

Those who support the taking of life in the womb do it in the name of dignity with false

accusations while breading that those who wish to save pre-born lives are deceptive and

harmful.

This is as much or well-earned double think as in the book.

It might as well say, harm is medicine.

Death is life.

Truth are lies.

Sometimes, they actually do.
