But what of the Holy Spirit? The Bible tells us that God is a spirit, and no man has seen God at any time, and yet the Holy Spirit? The Bible tells us that God is a spirit and no man has seen God at any time,

and yet the Holy Spirit is symbolized throughout Scripture in many ways. In this study, seeing the

In our last study, we talked about the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ, the master teacher,

often used symbols to convey spiritual truth.

Well, the Apostle Paul did the exact same thing.

This is a biblical method to convey the biblical message.

That's why we're looking at all these symbols of the Spirit in the Scripture, because

every picture just gives us a little clearer glimpse of who the Holy Spirit of God is, and

what the Holy Spirit of God is seeking to do in our lives.

We come to another today, in fact, two, two pictures, two symbols in one passage of the Holy Spirit,

found in 2 Corinthians chapter 1. Here's what the Bible says.

2 Corinthians chapter 1, verse number 21 says, now he which establisheth us with you in Christ

and hath anointed us is God who have also sealed us and given the earnest

of the spirit in our hearts.

The first thing I'd like to point out to you from 2 Corinthians 1, 21 and 22, is that all

three members of the Godhead are here.

Do you see Christ, God, and the Spirit?

And so God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, all at work in our salvation.
