So glad you are with us.

I don't know what kind of a week it's been for you,

but it's been like a mock five hair on fire kind of week for me.

And what a great time to settle down with a good

friend, Alex Ely, who's a trusted voice. You won't like her just because of her accent.

You'll think that's pretty cool. But what you'll like is her heart. And she is a voice that I trust

in the world. She pastors a big church. but she does it in a way that is just

like so authentic and kind and tender. So these are the voices that I want to surround myself with.

So Alex, welcome to the podcast. Thanks so much for having me. I'm really excited about being on this.

This is really good. So tell us like,

what does it feel like to be you and a little bit about like the metamorphosis? People that

know me know I used to be like this like, what am I going to be when I grow up kid? And then I did

30 years of hard time as a lawyer. And then I stopped doing that.

And then I said, I'm going to just go talk to people.

And so then I did that.

And then in November of last year, I stopped talking to people.

I said, I'm not going to be a speaker anymore.

And if I show up, I'm going for nothing.

I love that.
