U.S. steel, the Japanese company, Nippin Steel, their proposed acquisition. It's a big public

They've now said in the last couple of days that they may delay blocking the deal,

former President Trump, both say they're wanting to block the deal. Other than that,

1:18.5

I don't know a whole lot of people, myself included, who are against the deal. And so what I did

1:25.1

at the written Dividendant Cafe is I ended up writing a big explanation as to why

1:29.8

I'm supportive of the deal and what I think is sort of the market-based free society argument

1:36.3

in favor of this particular deal. It's an economic argument and gets into the reality of the

1:42.9

capital needs of the company. It's not a political

1:45.9

position. But anyways, I'm not going to go through all that here on the video or the podcast now.

I just want to let you know that that's there at the Monday edition of today's dividendcafe.com
