I think that's where the disconnect, one of the big disconnects is between

solopreners and business owners is they think like, well, I am the ultimate sales

hustler, I have to do acquisitions. I can't let Brandon run the the comps because what if he does it wrong and then blah blah blah blah blah blah

Then they never get to that point where someone else is doing it and then their business stays on them,

and then eventually their business dies

because it's so reliant on them.

If they aren't motivated,

or if they have a change of heart just things come

things just stop pretty much and to say it's like that's okay. Yeah if you if that's the business you I talked to a guy recently he owns a company that they install

alarm systems yeah it's just him he's been doing it for 30 years he's got a van he

installs alarms on places he loves doing it he all the money. He knows the day that he

stops installing alarms, the business closes. Yeah. And he's fine with that.

Yeah. No problem. Yeah. If that's what you want out of this is just, hey, I'm

going to go do appointments and I'm going to buy houses and yeah

wonderful but at least just be honest about it yeah it's just you don't want to deceive yourself into

thinking like hey I'm building a business here and I'm going to get out of this eventually,

yeah, when you're not building it that way.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, got it. Okay, so now, and then one last point on like the profit thing. So what I've noticed over the years of being in real estate and now digital marketing right is like I remember when I was a realtor back in the day. I would talk to someone. They're like, yeah, I made 300k last year.

And I don't know what sparked it, but then I started being like, okay, like, was that net? Yeah, yeah, I think so. And I and I'm like well let's break it down so like is that before

tax or after tax oh well yeah that's before tax okay is that before you paid your broker or that's after and then they're like oh that's before I paid my broker and I'm like oh so

Whittles down yeah yeah really really quickly so I don't know why people struggle with that. Actually I do know why it's ego.
