Sometimes you hear a story so mysterious, so bizarre, so shocking, the story consumes you.

The facts of the case become an obsession of yours, and you dive deep into the dark waters,

trying to dig up any and all information that you can possibly find. For me, one of those cases

is that of the disappearance of Brandon Swanson, which remains, in my mind, one of the most mysterious and disturbing stories in the history of the disappearance of Brandon Swanson, which remains, in my mind, one of the most mysterious

and disturbing stories in the history of the United States of America.

Brandon was your regular All-American 19-year-old kid from Minnesota.

But one day in May of 2008, he vanished into thin air, and to this day, not a trace of him. His body or his presence has ever been found.

Some people believe Brandon was murdered.

Others believe he was kidnapped.

Some believe he died on accident, fell into a well, or was run over by farm equipment.

And others believe that he may have slipped into another dimension,

or could have possibly been abducted by

aliens. On today's episode, we're going to be investigating the story of Brandon's disappearance,

and through doing this episode and other episodes like this, we aim to raise awareness about

these cases and to keep people talking about them, because knowledge is power. You may look at

these investigations and say that they don't matter, that nothing counts,

that we're not investigators, but we're getting people to think about these stories to bring

them up to talk about them with their own families in the hope that somebody knows something.

And in some of these cases, to keep pressure on local authorities to continue the investigations,

to not abandon hope.
