0:49.7	1983 after graduating from a university in Belgrade she eventually moved to the United States in 2005.
0:57.0	She became a dual citizen. Anna worked in the hospitality industry working at various hotels.
1:03.0	And it was at one of those hotels where she met Brian Walsh.
1:08.0	In 2016, Brian and Anna got married and started a family. Together, they were raising three young boys.
1:14.1	In 2022, Anna obtained a position with a real estate company which forced her to split her time between her home with her family in Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.
1:27.1	This move along with Brian's indictment related to an art scam put a lot of strain on the relationship.
1:35.3	Then after spending New Year's having dinner with friends, Anna seemingly vanished. She was reported missing by her employer in D.C. and by Brian on January 4th.
1:47.0	Investigators suspected Brian and executed a search warrant, which uncovered evidence they believe proves he murdered and dismembered Anna,
1:56.0	despite the fact that her remains have never been found. Brian has been charged with Anna's murder and is locked up waiting for his upcoming trial on court TV.
2:08.2	And we're getting ready for this one. This is a big one. Three children who don't have their mom around and now dad's charged with murder. So there's a lot at stake in this case.
2:19.5	One of the issues that has delayed the case for a bit has been the mental status of Brian Walsh, the accused.
2:27.1	But he has been deemed competent to stand trial, which means right here, right now, he understands what is happening.
