Fox. Hey, this is Trey. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesdays with Trey. Three quick things that are on my mind. I don't have the answers. I'm just trying to sort it out the same as you.

Number one, the Virginia governor's race. Virginia is a blue state. I have heard it

called a purple state. I would not quarrel too seriously with someone who still

considered it to be a purple state. But let me tell you why I think it's a blue state. There's been one governor elected, one

Republican governor elected in Virginia in the last 20 years. The last GOP presidential candidate that carried the state was George W Bush.

So again, as you know, math is not my long suit, but I think we're closing in on what about maybe close to two decades there.

So one Republican governor, one GOP presidential candidate.

Both United States senators in Virginia are Democrats. So they're two for two there, and seven of the 11 U.S. House seats are Democrat. So it's almost 2 to 1. So hadn't had a Republican governor in forever.

I haven't had a Republican carry Virginia in a presidential race in nearly two decades. Both US senators and almost two to one

Democrats, a Republican, and the US House of Representatives.

So if someone wants to tell me that that's a purple state, I'm not going to like fall out of favor with you over that, but that state looks pretty blue to me.

Nonetheless, if polling can be believed, and that's a big if Tuesday's gubernatorial race

seems pretty close some polling has Flynn Yunken up but almost all the polling there a couple outliers but almost all of it

almost all the polling is like almost a statistical dead heat none of which interests me as much as the question of why.

Joe Biden won that state last year by 10 points.

10 points is not a lot in a football game is actually a landslide in politics.

The UN 5545 that's considered a landslide.
