What's going on, everyone?

Welcome into another episode of DeCecho Daily.

And we're going to do a little detour today.

Normally we would continue on with our positional preview series,

but the Eagles had coordinator availability today, which means we heard from newly minted

offensive coordinator Sean Manion for the first time. And he had some really good things to say.

Look, you never want to make too much off of one press conference, but I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed.

I thought he conveyed his vision and his principles and what he really believes in with conviction.

And there was a lot of positives to take away from that.

Thought he really handled himself well there.

Michael Clay, the Eagle Special Teams coordinator spoke.

And of course, we heard from Vic Van Gio, who had a ton of one-liners, never fails to deliver a

quote that elicits a lot of laughter and things like that. So I'm actually going to read for you

some quotes that I found to be particularly noteworthy, and then I'll offer some thoughts with that.

So we're going to start with the man of the hour, and that is Sean Manion.

And he talked a lot about establishing a relationship with J.1. Hurts, how that's gone over

very well, and J-alen's really dialed into the

fundamentals. He asked a lot of thought-provoking questions. He sort of attacked this process. And

naturally, that's where it all starts with Sean Manion. How will you get the most out of Jalen

Hertz? And he talked about connecting on a personal level, getting to know Jalen, and know what his interests are, what makes him tick.

And then he said, once you start to get to know a guy on a personal level, I think the football connection comes, becomes pretty easy.
