| 0:00.0 | Inside the Birds is back. |
| 0:13.6 | It's back. |
| 0:14.5 | It's Jeff Mosher and Adam Kaplan. |
| 0:17.0 | And guess what? |
| 0:18.1 | We just finished a podcast series going through every single positional position on the Eagles and the depth chart and giving intel on that. We're about to start a new series. And I'm really looking forward to this one. It'll be a little bit shorter. What we're going to do is go through the Eagle schedule. And what we've done is break it up into four parts. All right. we're going to start off with the early part as the schedule goes on and then for the next three podcasts get to the end. But we're going to go through the matchups of who they play and really get into Adam, right, the nitty gritty of the matchups, the strategies of all the new coaches, the new schemes of philosophies. The eagles are going to be seeing week-to-week basis. And that's what I really love about it, at this time of the year in May, to be able to really get like football junkie talk and really good intel. A lot of that comes, we talk to so many people for the pre-draft process from other teams, and we kind of know what they're thinking, what they're doing, and it's good intel to use in these situations because then the Eagles wind up playing them |
| 1:14.5 | this season. So I'm really looking forward to this podcast series. |
| 1:18.4 | Yeah, looking forward to it. It's going to be interesting to see what happens. It really is |
| 1:23.8 | because nothing stays the same in the national football. That's why I kind of laugh at |
| 1:27.0 | strength of schedule. No NFL team stays exactly the same. Like literally no team does. Like down to Dallas, though, Dallas will get in them later in no show. They're bringing back their entire offense. That like doesn't happen starting 11. It's extremely rare. But hey, they're doing it. I mean, usually they have one change, right? Yeah. Coach staffs change, personnel staff change. And by the way, when I do my own strength of schedule, I add that in there because if a team has an injury, how thoughtful are they? Are they smart enough? Are they aggressively howie? That that matters to be when you look at strength of the schedule. Yep, for sure, for sure. |
| 2:01.3 | So in this podcast, we're going to do weeks one through four. |
| 2:04.6 | So it starts off week one versus commanders, week two at Titans, week three at Bears, |
| 2:09.1 | week four versus Rams. |
| 2:10.1 | And the interesting thing to your point, Adam, is not just that three of those four teams |
| 2:14.7 | Eagles played last year, but there's a lot of differences with them. |
| 2:17.3 | And it really starts in week one against the commanders. Because to your point, there is a lot |
| 2:24.4 | that is different with the Washington commanders, including a new offensive coordinator and a new |
| 2:30.2 | defensive coordinator. And what I really think is cool about this being a week one matchup, |
| 2:35.7 | besides the fact that last year you had to wait till week 16 for the first of the |
| 2:41.1 | matchup, and by the time you got it, it was ridiculous. |
| 2:43.4 | My time you got it, the commanders were out of it. |
| 2:45.7 | So, yeah, what I like about this is that the Eagles and commanders offensively are trying to get to the |
| 2:53.4 | same point with similar schemes and styles, different people and different personnel, |
