what do their releases mean?

And we took a look at the current state of the Eagles cornerback room.

Well, about an hour or two after that, it was announced that the Eagles issued first team all pro,

24 pro bower and 24 offensive player of the year.

Running back Saquan Barkley with a two-year $41.2 million extension.

Barclay is now the highest paid running back in the NFL,

and he's the first running back to earn 20 million plus per year at his position.

Phenomenal job by the Philadelphia Eagles.

And yet again, it again showcases why the Eagles have become a destination.

Why players want to play for Philadelphia.

They rewarded a player who rushed for 2005 yards, who was a all pro, who was a all-pro, who was a pro-boer, who was the 2024 offensive player of the year.

He completely checked off a million boxes throughout the season, rewriting the record book.

He had 302 yards from scrimmage against the Rams back in week 12.

He was the driving force of the offense last season on a Super Bowl championship team.

So I think that you got to tip your hat to the Philadelphia Eagles for giving a two-year extension

to a player in which less than a year ago agreed to a three-year, $37.5 million deal,

and this one resets the running back market.

Sequin Barclay is primed to be an eagle for life.
