Hi guys, Andrew DeCechko here, DeCecho Daily, and we spent yesterday's podcast talking about my initial

takeaways and observations from Eagles rookie minicamp.

And today we're going to look at the undrafted free agent class.

And the reason we're doing it today is because now they're official.

They were announced yesterday.

And it's a nine-person group.

The hall was nine players. I was expecting anywhere from 10 to 12.

But the Eagles added a ton of volume in the draft and kind

to just to run down the names. Wide receiver Darius Cooper from Tarleton State, linebacker

Lance Dixon from Toledo, defensive back Maxon Hook, Toledo, defensive back Brandon Johnson

from Oregon, running back Montreal Johnson from Florida, defensive back BJ Mays from Texas A&M,

wide receiver Taylor Moran from Wake Forest, offensive lineman Holland Pierce from Rutgers,

and running back Shun Derek Powell from central Arkansas.

And to kind of back up before we preview it, you know, the Philadelphia has become a

destination for undrafted free agents

and they're continuously being put in position and given a fair opportunity to make the roster.

You don't have to look too far. Almost every year, a player from an undrafted free agent class

makes the Eagles 53, or at least plays in some regular season games.

And I would also say that whether or not they actually make the roster or if they make the practice squad and they hang out there for the season where the Eagles continue to grow and

develop them, the Eagles have sort of this developmental program where they find ways. if you are talented enough, they will find

ways to keep you around.

And all of a sudden, you look at rookie minicamp.
