And today we're going to do something a little different because we're two weeks out from the NFL draft.

And I know the opening night, it garners the bulk of the headlines because that's where teams are identifying franchise cornerstones.

But it's important to remember that a lot of what makes up an NFL roster around the league are comprised of day two

selections.

And like the opening night, those who are selected in rounds two and three are expected to

elevate into starting roles.

So look at it through the lens of Hallie Roseman.

And he's been very successful in

years past coming away with impactful talent in rounds two and three.

Also round one, but today we're talking about day two and really getting those positions

of need.

So when you look at the obvious need for cost-controlled offensive pieces over the next two weeks,

I focused on that side of the ball today because I listed eight players that I thought would be fits.

And the key here is they fall or they're expected to fall within the

Eagles range in any of their three day two selections. So to recap, the Eagles are picking in the

second round, pick 54. That's their own pick. The third round, number 63, the Hassan Reddick trade. The third round

pick number 98 is a compensatory pick. So I'm going to go through these offensive players

and add a little context and also where I'm expecting them to go. So we'll start right off the bat with three wide receivers, the first of which is Chris Bell from Louisville.

And I like his compact build.
