This is the Checo Daily.

Today we're going to get into some of the players that I'm looking to keep an eye on in OTAs.

And we're going to go through about eight players here and O'Siers is well the first

day was Tuesday Wednesday is open to the media and they'll also have another session on

Friday but tomorrow we'll hear from a new offensive coordinator Kevin Petullo

Curious to hear what he has to say.

OTAs are really interesting because it accents, or it highlights, the passing game.

And I think that because of that, you have to look at it and say,

you're not going to be able to glean much in terms of the trench play, the offensive linemen, the defensive linemen.

But what you can really pick, you could really pick up on the passing game, how that looks,

defensive backs, how they fare, how they're grasping the system.

And I think because of that, you're going to notice that that's why I don't have any defensive linemen or offensive

linemen in my players to watch. But we're going to start things off with wide receiver Danny Gray.

And you already know about them because I know you've listened to this

podcast before. A 22 third round pick of the 49ers. He spent all last season on the Eagles

practice squad. This is the quintessential player who would thrive in an OTA setting, four three speed.

He can get behind the secondary. This is the same player, let's not forget,

that gave the starting defense trouble when he was on the scout team last year. So I think
