This month I'm sharing cases of people who

against all odds survived some of the worst killers in modern history. In this

week's story a teenage girl is picked up by a seemingly ordinary couple and then spends

two days trapped in a nightmare.

She is the fifth victim of one of the rarest types of killers on record, a serial killer

couple.

But Kate Moyer would keep her wits about her, and even though she was only 17, she out-smarted

the evil duo, ending their killing spree.

This is the case of the Morehouse Murder survivor, Kate Moyer. So, you're going to be. On the evening of November 9th, 1986, 17-year-old Kate Moyer was hitchhiking along Sterling Highway, just outside of the port city of Fremantle in Western Australia.

Kate had spent a night out with friends, and like many young people without a car at that time and place,

decided to flag down a ride for the

short drive home.

Within a few minutes a car pulled up and a middle-aged woman stuck her head out and asked Kate

if she knew the area. She said they were lost and asked for

directions giving Kate a street name. As Kate approached the car, she looked
