0:35.8	Director Brian McCormick. Awesome. Before we take a seat, we are going to read some scripture
0:42.6	together. And we're continuing our study of the gospel of Luke. We're going to be in Luke
0:51.3	chapter 4, Luke chapter 4, starting in verse 1. And just out of reverence, we're going to stay
0:59.4	standing for this time. And out of reverence, out of eagerness to receive, and then a willingness
1:07.1	to take and share this. That's what we're going to do. So this is the gospel of Luke chapter 4,
1:14.8	starting in verse 1. So God's Word has for us tonight. It says, then Jesus left the Jordan
1:23.1	full of the Holy Spirit and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for 40 days to be tempted
1:30.7	by the devil. He ate nothing during those days. And when they were over, he was hungry. The devil
1:38.2	said to him, if you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread. But Jesus answered him,
1:46.4	it is written, man must not live on bread alone. So he took him up and showed him all the kingdoms
1:53.7	of the world in a moment of time. The devil said to him, I will give you their splendor and all this
2:00.4	authority because it has been given over to me. And I can give it to anyone I want. If you then
2:07.3	will worship me, all will be yours. And Jesus answered him, it is written, worship the Lord
2:14.1	your God, serve him only. So he took him to Jerusalem, had him stand on the pinnacle of the temple
