Director Brian McCormick. Awesome. Before we take a seat, we are going to read some scripture

together. And we're continuing our study of the gospel of Luke. We're going to be in Luke

chapter 4, Luke chapter 4, starting in verse 1. And just out of reverence, we're going to stay

standing for this time. And out of reverence, out of eagerness to receive, and then a willingness

to take and share this. That's what we're going to do. So this is the gospel of Luke chapter 4,

starting in verse 1. So God's Word has for us tonight. It says, then Jesus left the Jordan

full of the Holy Spirit and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for 40 days to be tempted

by the devil. He ate nothing during those days. And when they were over, he was hungry. The devil

said to him, if you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread. But Jesus answered him,

it is written, man must not live on bread alone. So he took him up and showed him all the kingdoms
