this is the actual championship ring of the 1955 Dodgers. It was owned by

Don Zimmer who at the time was a second basement and he started game 7 because

Jackie Robinson was slightly injured but they put Jackie Robinson in at the

last inning because they wanted him to be on the diamond when the Dodgers won
